Over the past few months, the Diverso team has had to turn its event design expertise to a new playground: entirely virtual events. Several events have been cancelled, but other organizations have launched into virtual or even hybrid mode.

Such is the case with Éducaloi, a neutral and independent organization with recognized expertise in legal education and clear communication of the law, with whom Diverso has worked closely for several years. After cancelling the Benefit Evening for the first time, the event took place last fall in a hybrid format, with a few people present in the studio and all participants online.

Although certain elements are essential to the programming of every event, regardless of format, the design of a virtual event requires that the entire sequence be tightly tied together, with an eye to the rhythm of the sequences. If we want everyone to enjoy their time behind the screen, we need to present participants with an event that’s fast-paced but also breathes, so that people can enjoy the moment. It’s a challenge to find that balance!

Last March, Diverso was also called upon to build the scenario for the launch of Éducaloi’s legal collective, La loi et vous – Le guide du citoyen averti . During this 45-minute launch, all the participants worked from home or the office. In addition, technical support was provided by a team whose control room was also remote, and who worked with an event platform capable of delivering all the necessary technical support. To ensure the smooth running of operations, a general practice session with all participants was organized shortly before the day of the event.

The Diverso team is currently working on events in hybrid and virtual formats, which will take place over the coming months.
